Many followers and specialists of the world of motor and especially the Motogp do not hesitate to say that Valentino Rossi is the best driver in the history of Motogp, since during his time in this world has taken 9 world titles, in which anchored since 2009.Valentino continues to pursue the tenth title where he has been able to caress between the seasons 2014 and 2016 being runner-up in the world but the nine times world champion finds two factors that are not in his favor, one the age of 39 and another generation of young promises that faces such as Marc Márquez or Maverick Viñales
This past weekend Marc Márquez got his seventh world championship in the circuit of Japan (twin ring motegi) with which he has already won 5 world championships, a world class in the middle category (Moto2) and one in the small category (125cc) ) with which Marc already improves the Rossi numbers and is on track to match Nieto. Now what is to see is if Márquez reached the nine titles that Valentino has achieved.
Marc Márquez titles
-2018:MotoGP WORLD CHAMPION
-2017:MotoGP WORLD CHAMPION
-2016:MotoGP WORLD CHAMPION
-2015:THIRD IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
-2014:MotoGP WORLD CHAMPION
-2013:MotoGP WORLD CHAMPION
-2012:Moto2 WORLD CHAMPION
-2011:Second in the Moto2 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
-2010:125cc WORLD CHAMPION

In my opinion I have no doubt about who is the best driver. Marc Marquez is the best driver in the history of motorcycling. He has demonstrated several times how incredible fast can go reaching the limit in every race. His aggressive driving might be questioned by a lot of people, but I think, in fact, that this type of style makes him unique and a superstar. If you are driving all the time nearly at the limit its normal that sometimes you commit some mistakes, but I’m sure he never does it with bad intentions. He is a genius inside and outside the circuit.
ResponderEliminarGiving the opinion now is very easy. Compare a 25 years old boy against a 40 years old one is easy. Then we need to know that nowadays a motorcycle has much more electronic sensors and stabilizers which make the moto easier to drive. In the 2000's this wasn't happening. For last, talking about differences between the motorcycles, we can see that in these last years, the only competitive one, has been the Honda (ironic compared to F1) and that marquez had such a big advantage agains Lorenzo, Dovizioso and Rossi.
ResponderEliminarin my opinion it seems to me that you are wrong. it is true that in other times the bikes didn't have the technology they have today but we have to take into account that new records are also being created. also riders like marquez start before going on a bike and their skills are greater than for example rossi. and I think that technology advances proportionally with the skills of the riders. finally comment that I do not agree that victory is a thing of the Honda brand because for example ducati has a super competent bike and with a lot of speed.
EliminarI totally disagree with marconemm Marquez is way better than Rossi, he has acomplished more championships than Rossi at his age and he is going to be the GOAT of MotoGP no doubt about that
ResponderEliminarI agree with Gerard that there is no doubt that Marc Marquez, today, is the best rider in the premier class. He proves it day after day on the bike, where many competitors able to reach the title have fallen, and Marc continued to maintain his course. As happened at the Australian Grand Prix, where Zarco makes contact with Marquez at over 300km/h, Zarco abandons the race due to a crash and the world champion manages to stabilise the bike, but abandons the race because his rear chassis and engine had been destroyed.
ResponderEliminarBruno: As a Rossi follower I don't have any doubt he has been, he is and he will be a legent in the world of Moto GP. In the past years there wer not so many technological adavnces that can allow the pilot only focus on driving his motorbike. On the other hand I can't subtract merit to what Marc Marquez is doing, in most of the time drives too aggressive but every pilot has its strategies for achieving the objectives of the team.
ResponderEliminarJOSE: It's true that Rossi is the most famous rider in the history of moto gp but some behaviors he has had on and off the track make my marc better on and off the track. I hope that someday Mar will surpass the 9 Rossi World Championships and become the best gp motorbike rider in history.
ResponderEliminarIn my opinion Valentino has been a great rider and it will always be one of the top ones of the motorbiking history but years pass and the age weighs a lot, so with nearly reaching the forties he won't be what he was when he was young. Continuing following with the age, Marc with 15 years less than the Italian is conquering the hearts of a lot of supporters for his style driving a motorbike, with an aggressive style and always looking to be the first in every race that he disputes. To conclude my opinion, I think that this rivalry between this two drivers is making the competition more funny and interesting and this is helping to the future drivers who want to be the best ones.
